We are pleased that you have chosen our Center for your outpatient surgical needs, and we will strive to exceed your expectations. The Ambulatory Surgery Center is staffed and equipped to provide you with age-specific, quality care from infancy through adulthood in a comfortable environment.

Our registered nurses and support personnel are professionals with Operating Room (OR), Endoscopy, Pre-op, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) recovery skills. Many of our nurses also have training in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

We are conveniently located at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s Main Campus at 2727 West Holcombe Boulevard on the third floor. While we are proud to be part of the Kelsey-Seybold campus, we are a separate facility, licensed by the Texas Department of Health as an ambulatory surgical facility.

Same-day surgery gets you home as soon as possible.


Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. We provide same-day surgical services for a number of medical disciplines, including:

  • Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)

  • Eye surgery

  • Gastroenterology (Liver biopsy, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy)

  • General surgery, including minimally invasive gallbladder removal

  • Gynecological surgery

  • Orthopedic surgery

  • Pediatric surgery

  • Pain management

  • Podiatric (foot) surgery

  • Urological surgery.


ANESTHESIA

Anesthesia services for your surgery will be provided by Medical Center Anesthesia, a professional corporation consisting of board-certified Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Based on insurance coverage, these services may be billed separately.

PATHOLOGY

Pathology services are provided by Brown and Associates, a professional organization consisting of board-certified pathologists. Pathologists perform frozen sections and analyze tissue specimens obtained during some surgeries. Based on insurance coverage, these services may be billed separately.


Neither Kelsey-Seybold Ambulatory Surgery Center nor St. Luke's Episcopal Health System employ physicians or nurse anesthetists and do not control the medical decisions of any physician or nurse anesthetist. They are not the agents or servants of the ASC or St. Luke's Episcopal Health System. Kelsey-Seybold Medical Group, P.A. does not employ anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, anesthesiologists who perform pain management, or pathologists who may practice at the ASC. In addition, there may be other providers who perform procedures at the ASC who are contract providers with the ASC and/or Kelsey-Seybold Medical Group, P.A. These contract providers are not the agents, servants, or employees of Kelsey-Seybold Medical Group, P.A.
