Houston Family Magazine Readers Voted Dr. Cutler “Best Pediatrician” Readers of Houston Family Magazine have spoken and they think Main Campus Pediatrician, Dr. Debra Cutler is the best!
In their June 2002 issue, Houston Family Magazine named the winners of its 2002 Reader’s Choice Awards with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s own Dr. Debra Cutler taking First Place as Houston’s Best Pediatrician. “I think it was quite a compliment that my patients’ families took the time and effort to submit my name for this distinction,” Dr. Cutler said, adding with some laughter, “I had no idea I was even being considered for this until your photographer showed up to take my picture!”
The parent of a 17 year-old daughter and a 6 year-old son, Dr. Cutler understands the challenges of raising a family and combines this practical experience in her approach to patient care. “I try to really listen to what my patients and their families are saying,” she says. If they have an issue that they feel is important, then I feel it is important too. I am fortunate to work in clinic environment like Kelsey-Seybold where I am able to spend time with my patients because we want to be thorough. I am fortunate in having such wonderful nursing and ancillary services as well.”
Dr. Cutler was named Houston's Best Pediatrician in the poll’s Favorite Service category, which included nominees for Houston’s best hospital, dentist and birthing facility. The Houston Family Magazine poll is conducted annually from February through May, with winners announced in the June issue.
