FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. I'm expecting. When should I choose a pediatrician?
A. It is generally recommended that you think about selecting a pediatrician for your child about the sixth month of pregnancy. You may want to meet with the pediatrician prior to your baby's birth. At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, we have more than 50 pediatricians and three full-time pediatric "hospitalists," medical doctors who specialize in the care of infants, children and adolescents during their hospital stay. We also have pediatric and adolescent specialists in Allergy, Dermatology Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary Medicine and Radiology.
Q. How do I know if my pediatrician is qualified?
A. Check your pediatrician's education and credentials. All of our pediatricians have completed a medical degree at an accredited university and are licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
