Dr. Ned Snyder, Chief of the Gastroenterology Department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, outlines the basic facts about colorectal cancer screening during an interview this week with KPRC-TV Local 2 reporter Hasti Taghi. Kelsey-Seybold patient Eddie Broussard testifies from his experience. According to Dr. Snyder, it takes about seven to 10 years for a small polyp to turn into cancer.

Parents can help their children succeed by making sure they get the sleep they need. Dr. Kemba Black (formerly Baker), a pediatrician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Spring Medical and Diagnostic Center, presented ideas for parents on FOX 26 Morning News on Tuesday, March 16 to help students get the optimal sleep needed to take standardized tests that often last hours at a time. Dr. Black recommends establishing a daily bedtime routine and not allowing exercise or playing video games within an hour before bedtime.
